Rob Papalia AFSM CA, CTA
Born in Bunbury, Rob grew up in Brunswick Junction and Manjimup before moving to Perth to complete a Bachelor of Business degree at Curtain University. Rob joined Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountant’s for six years working in Bunbury then a stint in Perth, before transferring to Busselton. In 1983 Rob commenced his own Accountancy practice and the rest is history. Starting as a one man show the practice now has three Partners and employs 15 staff. Married to Annette, they have four boys – Adam a radio sports presenter for 6PR; Marc a career Fire fighter at Maddington station also 10 times State Volunteer competition champion; Bryn a Senior Constable Police officer and volunteer fire fighter at Busselton; and Dean a Deck hand on a tug boat and volunteer Fire Fighter at Karratha and Busselton. When not attending to work his passion is for Fire Brigade. Rob also likes to think he is a keen fisherman.

James Gasbarri CA, Diploma FP
James was born and bred in country NSW and worked in Perth for 4 years, before moving to Busselton in 1999. Along with his wife, Janine and their four children, James live on a small hobby farm near Dunsborough and enjoys heading to the beach and working the farm. James also enjoys getting involved in local theatre productions and is involved in charity work assisting young children living in poverty in the slums of Kenya.

Ric Toovey CA, Diploma FP
Chartered Acc. partner
Ric joined the business in 1996 after moving from Perth and marrying a Busselton girl. He became a partner the following year. Life has changed dramatically with the arrival of three children and an active family life. Outside of work Ric is active in the local community as a board member of St Mary Mackillop College and has spent many seasons coaching his two sons football teams. When he has some free time to himself, he enjoys a game of golf with friends at the Busselton Golf Club.

Rohan Toia CA, CTA, Diploma FP
Rohan grew up on a rural property near Yallingup and attended regional schools. After moving to Perth to complete his studies, he returned to Busselton and joined the then ‘PRT’ in 2006. Rohan married a local girl and now with three children their life is very busy. When not occupied with work and family commitments, Rohan enjoys coaching and playing hockey and every so often sneaking a trip in to the gym.

Ian Truscott CPA, CTA
Ian moved from Northam to Busselton in April 2018 with his wife and three children. Ian is involved in Rovers Football Club currently holding the Treasurers position and the Busselton Margaret River Junior Cricket Association. When not involved in the kids sport, he enjoys walking his Border Collie along the beach and helping out with the sheep work at his in-laws property.
Heather Tennant
Heather grew up in the (then) small town of Cowaramup. She moved to Perth for her High School education and then attended University. After working as a senior accountant for two firms, the opportunity arose to return to the area with her husband and two sheep. Since returning to Cowaramup in 2002 she has been very involved in the local community serving on the committees of the Cowaramup District Social Club (retired), the Cowaramup Tennis Club and the Cowaramup Fire Brigade. She is an active member of the Cowaramup Fire Brigade and as well as attending fires is the Training officer for Brigade. In addition she is a Training/Assessor for the Shire in relation to Fire Training. When not busy with committees, Heather and her husband get away in their camper trailer to see and photograph the sights.
Raelene Jeynes
Currently working remotely from Ipswich in Queensland Raelene has strong family links to Busselton and the South-West and previously worked from the Busselton Office for over 10 years. She is a busy mum to three children – Brook, Ronan and Abbey and wife to Craig. Along with her daily addiction to her F45 classes, Raelene enjoys relaxing Sunday BBQ’s, camping, Sci-Fi shows, books and a glass of bubbles.
Lex Johnson
Lex grew up in Dunsborough and moved to Busselton in 2012. She loves being a mum and spending time with her family. She enjoys living in the southwest and experiencing all it has to offer including local wineries and great beaches.
Lynne Hewitt
Lynne joined UHY in July 2017 and brought with her 25 years of experience in public practice, mostly in the south west. After moving into the region 20 years ago, she raised her two children in the Yallingup/Dunsborough area. Lynne is a keen sportswoman, and has been involved in many sporting roles, playing, coaching and administration positions; and today her passion is road cycling.
Jackson Arbon
Jackson grew up in Busselton and has lived in the area most of his life. He’s a lover of all things sport related, particularly football where he represents Busselton in the local Southwest competition. Jackson is about to begin studying towards his Chartered Accountancy accreditation, but when not working or studying he’s likely to be at the beach or spending time with my family and friends.

Dominica Boyes
Dominica commenced work with UHY in 2004 and later relocated to Perth. At the time UHY created an opportunity for Dominica to keep her position and work from home. This has worked so well that Dominica is still part of the team to this day! As well as interests in the outdoors and yoga, Dominica’s life challenge is to help her kids (and kelpie) grow towards a happy, well-adjusted adulthood and to embrace each day.
Michelle Bowman
Michelle lived most of her life in Perth and worked in administration for two accounting firms, starting in the first accounting firm after leaving school. Her husband’s work commitments required a move to Busselton in 2004 where she quickly found a position at UHY in May of that year. Michelle loves her life in Busselton and everything the South West has to offer her family all year round.
Lynn Bone
Lynn completed her Certificate IV in Business Administration and Financial Services in 2005 which opened up the opportunity to return to outside work after 20 years of parenting four children and hobby farming in Nannup. Having lived her whole life in the Southwest, Lynn made the move to Busselton in 2006 with every intention of retiring here. In 2015 Lynn decided to follow her passion in natural therapies and trained as a professional reflexologist operating a home-based practice on Wednesday’s of each week. Lynn enjoys travelling, hiking, socialising, dancing, gardening, renovating and ongoing education in specialised areas of Reflexology.
Wendy Kennedy
Born in New Zealand, Wendy moved to Port Hedland at the age of 10 with her family, where she completed the remainder of her schooling. As an adult she has lived in Geraldton, Perth, Paraburdoo and Nannup. Wendy has worked in a variety of jobs, including being an Underground Miner, Haulpak Truck Driver and Teachers Aide, although the majority of her working career has been in Administration. She moved to Busselton five years ago with her husband and two teenage sons. Wendy loves riding her pushbike and walking and swimming at the beach, usually with the family dog. Winter weekends involves a lot of time being spent at football ovals with both her sons whom are avid players.
